Services

Full-service interior design means that all of your needs are anticipated and met – saving you time and money by doing everything right the first time. Whether that's for a new build, a full or partial remodel, or a single room, this includes space planning, design concept development, materials and finish selection, custom furniture and window treatments, and project management.

Here's a quick breakdown of what each of these entails:

Space planning reimagines the current layout of an existing room, providing floor plans that maximize functionality for the way you live.

Design concept development and finish selection includes the creation of mood boards that reflect various options for material selections including decorative lighting, cabinetry finishes, flooring, tile, plumbing, and more.

Custom furniture and window treatments not only provide endless visual options, but they also allow us to produce pieces locally and with environmentally friendly and sustainable materials – good for your family, good for the community, good for the planet.

Finally, as your project manager, we act as the liaison between you, your contractors, and our network of quality, trusted vendors while we simultaneously maintain the budget, process and track orders, and oversee the delivery and installation of furniture and more. Responsiveness and efficiency are of utmost importance.

Full Home Remodel

For large scale residential remodels, we will take you through the full design process, step-by-step. Ideally, we join the team at the very beginning – even before you've identified your architect or builder! We'll create and execute a cohesive plan for your entire home, ensuring no detail is overlooked. Let us help you identify which products fit into your space and your budget while considering other important details such as maintenance, durability, safety, and comfort.

Single Room Renovation

Maybe it's maximizing the floor plan of your bathroom and choosing fixtures and finishes that evoke a relaxing atmosphere. Or perhaps you require custom cabinetry to create the functional, timeless kitchen you've always dreamed of. No matter the space, we're here to help you tackle the redesign of an individual room (or a few rooms!) in your home. Depending on the scope of work required, the process typically mirrors that of our full home remodel – on a smaller scale and shorter timeline.

E-Design

For those seeking the Maxwell Design look but live out of state, or for those who need help with the design but have the time to tackle the project management and implementation themselves, this service is for you. Along with individualized design advice, you’ll receive a comprehensive design for your room(s), including a concept board, space plan, and shopping list tailored to meet your style and budget.

The Process

Our personalized, flexible approach starts with uncovering your needs and goals, both functionally and aesthetically. We then gather other relevant information including economic trends, city requirements, and the details of your existing space before creating our plan. Once you approve the design concepts, we act as the point of contact for execution, maintaining open communication with both you and your team of builders and tradespeople. Detailed spreadsheets highlight priority investments and keep budgets in-line as we achieve your unique vision. We will guide you through a process that isn't rushed and doesn't cut corners, ultimately creating a home that's a beautiful expression of your style – and lifestyle.
