Growing up in a small beach town in Southern California, Soleil "Sunny" Maxwell developed an early appreciation for art, architecture, and thoughtfully designed spaces. Whether spending time by the ocean or attending art openings with her mother, she was drawn to the way design could shape how people live and experience their surroundings.
After completing her interior design education and apprenticing with designer Marjie Pitchon, Soleil founded Maxwell Design in 2015 with the belief that beautiful interiors should be as functional as they are timeless.
Known for her calm, organized approach and meticulous attention to detail, Soleil approaches every project with creativity, adaptability, and a strategic mindset. She guides clients through the complexities of renovations, and new construction with clear communication, skillful planning, and a collaborative process that makes even the most complex projects feel manageable.
Listening is at the heart of Soleil's design process, ensuring every home reflects the people who live there and supports their everyday lives.
